Benzlers was established in 1944 by Bengt Benzler and his uncle Axel when they had an idea for a business and set up a little company which supplied complete drives, chains and belt conveyers as well as offering customers individual expert advice on choosing components.

A consignment of 1,100 V Belts, a scarce commodity in war torn Europe was the pair's first big deal. Scania Vabis bought the whole lot for its lorries. This marked the starting point for the present day Benzlers an international group which has grown to become one of the engineering industry leaders.

But now as then we still follow Bengt and Axel Benzler's business philosophy of employing well trained skilled staff to give our customers individual service and advice on choosing the optimum solution regardless of whether the customer is a little engineering workshop or a big international group.
