Hazardous Waste Collection & Waste Reduction Programs

  • Cone Drive supports and utilizes the Grand Traverse County Hazardous Waste Disposals for all potentially hazardous materials left over from its operations.

  • By raising awareness through a "paper reduction challenge" with a goal of promoting efficient printing and eliminating unnecessary reports, Cone Drive employees were able to reduce paper consumption in the office by more than 40% in 2010, and plan to surpass that level moving forward.

  • Actively supporting a groundwater remediation project to clean up chemicals dumped more than 40 years ago.
