Double Enveloping Design by Cone Drive

With Cone Drive's double-enveloping design, the worm "wraps around" the gear, putting up to ten times more teeth in contact than conventional worm gearing. That means the total torque load is distributed among more teeth, increasing durability, precision and efficiency.
